A major international car hire company is offering travellers the chance to rent some amazing super cars, including the awesome McLaren MP4-12C! A car designed and built with the McLaren's F1 team engineering and technology in mind. This £212,000 car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, and can be yours for the day for £1,134.30! So as I'm sure for many, my dream of getting behind the wheel of such a car, will have to stay a dream for a little while longer. Although, the price does drop slightly to £906.30 a day if you take it over 28 days! Yes so that will figure out to be a cool £25,376.40 for 28 days! Wow! That's the cost of a fair few amazing holidays!

Though before you start getting too giddy, thinking as like I did, how if you and a group of mates all chipped in so much you could take it on the German autobahns for the day, to put the car through its paces. Then don't, as you will be sorely disappointed, as according to the terms and conditions, drivers are not permitted to take the car abroad.

So if you are planning on holidaying in the UK this year, have a couple of grand to spare, and fancy trying something a little different, then hiring the McLaren MP4-12C, could be one option. However, do also note that a damage waiver is not available, and should you scratch the paintwork, or worse, then the excess charge is £5,000!
