Holiday Like A Rockstar: Lady Gaga

So aside from getting totally out of their faces, throwing televisions out of hotel windows and basically giving all those who fall under the title of 'Rockstar,' sometimes quite a bad name. What else do they actually like to do and where do they like to go when they get the infrequent chance of a holiday? Well I will tell you. For a start they aren't always the extravagance you would expect from certain members of the celebrity community, which does make me think the catapulting TV days have sadly come to an end.

Anyway, this all obviously depends on your definition of a 'Rockstar' but for arguments sake we will be starting with Lady Gaga who for all intense and purposes is considered to be a modern day 'Rockstar'.

Last October, Lady Gaga rocked it up in.... wait for it..... Crete of all places! I don't mean that in the sense that there is anything wrong with Crete, quite the opposite actually, but talk about the most extravagant star taking the least extravagant of get aways! Even I have been to Crete, and I have never left Europe so thats saying something! Having said that, I think the actual least extravagant of get aways may have been something like good old trusty Brid, but either way, not what you expect from the meat wearing rockstar herself. A normally clothed, peaceful, holiday filled with reading books, and sitting by the pool, which quite honestly sounds as boring as what my mum would do if my dad let her have her own way! Of course she didn’t scrimp and scrape and rightly so, staying at the most exclusive hotels in the Mediterranean, arriving there by private jet, which finally does sound pretty badass, Rockstar to me!

If you decide to follow in good old Gaga's footsteps, Crete has got plenty to offer. It is not just Malia and its 'Inbetweeners' style holiday resorts. Crete is beautiful and has numerous little, traditional, greek villages with picturesque harbour side cafes. The Greek cuisine is arguably the most appetising and healthy of all the Mediterranean countries, and to wash it all down comes the local Retsina Wine, a must try beverage!

So basically the moral of this story is, if u want to party it up like Gaga herself, then jump on your private jet, swoosh over to Crete, stay at nicest hotel they have there n lounge about for two weeks looking completely normal. Not quite doing it like what I think a Rockstar should, but either way....
