**New pool construction 12 Sep to late Dec 2005**. Hotel is across the road from the beach, this hotel is part of Hamilton Island Resort . Hamilton Island is a self contained resort. The only form of transport on the Island is golf buggies, which can be hired (rented) by the hour. Hamilton Island has its own airport with daily flights to mainland Australia. Ideal for visits to the Great Barrier Reef.
