Location

The Grand hotel has possibly the best location in Zell Am See as it is located directly on the lake front with fantastic views over the lake and of the surrounding countryside. The hotel is also close to the old town center and within easy reach of the train station as well.

There are two parts to this hotel. In the second building all rooms have been recently renovated and are all similar in design and decoration being both modern and furnished with light colours. In the main building are suites of which the large majority cater for families or parties of four upwards travelling together. They are more traditional in design with stone floors, open fireplaces and are equipped with their own private saunas and some with whirlpools in the bathrooms as well.

Restaurant

Located on the ground floor, the main restaurant is furnished in a modern style yet retains traditional touches. It also has fantastic views over the lake.

Lobby

The lobby is very large and spacious. Features include marble floors covered with rugs and a large seating area to one side.

Exterior

Built in 1894, the exterior of the hotel is neo-classical in design with a white stone facade with balconies.
