79 well appointed guest suites that were all renovated in 2002. They have been updated with modern amenities, but the furnishings reflect the rich history of the hotel, including glorious 10 and 12 foot ceilings. Most rooms have a sitting area and desk. There are 22 long term suites with separate living area with kitchenette. Weekly, monthly and yearly rates are available. All rooms are often described as comfortable and warm. Guests often remark that they do not look like hotel rooms, but guest rooms in a Victorian home.
There are 2 restaurants on site. The Terrace Cafe is located in the original lobby of the hotel. This room has tiled mosaic floors, marble pillars and spectacular moldings. It serves breakfast and lunch daily. The Rum Runner Pub is open for lunch and dinner, and it is located in the lower lever hotel. This pub has many wood panelled areas and was once the home of a bootleg liquor business. Pool tables, darts and board games are available for our guests enjoyment.
The main lobby is medium sized and wwell appointed with detailed wooden moldings and very comfortable furniture. There is also two guest lobbies on the second floor that are often used for functions. They are complete with original details from 1893.

The hotel was built in 1893 and has been imaculatly maintained throughout its operation. 100 feet of flower boxes surround the hotel and are changed seasonally. Flags from around the world adorn the outside of the hotel to reflect the international character of this property.
