Hotetur Deauville is within walking distance of the Old Havana and modern city. It also provides easy access to the beaches just to the east of the city. Interestingly, many important 1950's cultural and political figures frequented this hotel. Comfortable and attractive, Hotetur Deauville is located on the other side of the Malecon, with a view out over the bay. The hotel is still operated by Spanish company Hotetur, although ownership was recently transfered from Horizontes to Gran Caribe. This three star hotel recently renovated has the distinction of being located only a few blocks from the entrance to Old Havana, while not being as costly accommodation as the Havana hotels located right in the colonial part of town.
