Building Description

The guest facilities feature the lobby with reception desk, 2 main restaurants and one a-la-carte-restaurant, an oriental cafe with terrace, bars, hairdresser, souvenir stores, shops and an amphitheatre. The outdoor area offers a heated swimmingpool, 1 pool which is located on an artificial island, sun terrace and a poolbar. Sports facilities include 2 hard surface courts (extra charge for floodlight and rackets), fitness room, Jacuzzi, table tennis, mini-golf,2 beach volleyball courts, pedal boats, children playground, and an entertainment and recreation programme. Other activities thatare not part of the all-inclusive package are: horseriding, watersports, steambath and sauna, massage, darts, boccia,billiards, and nearby Scuba dive centre, these are all charge locally. All-inclusivebasis includes the following: breakfast buffet (7-10am), continental late breakfast (10-11am), lunch buffet (12noon-2.30pm), snacks (12noon-3pm), soup of the day (11am-midnight), dinner buffet (6-10pm, themed buffet several times a week), midnight snack, local alcoholic beverages (beer, cocktails, liquors, spirits, wine by the glass, softdrinks, coffee and tea (10am-midnight), ice cream for children (12noon-8pm), festive day buffet on Christmas and New Years Eve.

The Dana Resort consists of 732 rooms including standard & superior twins, family rooms, suites & junior suites. Most of the rooms are equipped with terrace or balcony. Most of them have sea, pool or lagoon view, tiled floor, bathroom with shower or bathtub, hair dryer, WC, safety deposit box, direct dial phone, air conditioning, satellite TV and mini bar. Rooms with connecting door, additional bed, baby cot, 220 Voltage, adapter and cooking facilities (kitchenette) are available upon request (in 74 rooms). Daily room cleaning and change of towels & linen.

This property is located just 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Hurghada. A taxi to the next city or the airport will cost you 10.00. The shuttle bus to Hurghada costs 2.00. Nearest pharmacy in front of the hotel, nearest hospital 2km away.

Entry Requirements

On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is 10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitors visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
