The Akassia is a hotel complex located at one of the most breathtaking shores of the Red Sea. It consists of elegant rooms designed to offer guests comfort and services. Facilities And Services

There is a shopping arcade in the Hotel, a bank, ATM machine, WLAN (Wireless Network in the pools and lobby areas) for those that would like to connect to the Internet from their Wireless computers, 24 hr open pharmacy, 24 hr in-house doctor, baby sitting service and shuttle bus to/from El Qusier city in order to have a taste of the oriental environment.

Bars And Restaurants

During Lunch, Guests have the option to be served in the Main Restaurant or at the Pizzeria Directly on the Sea in the Beach Barbeque Restaurant for all kinds of grilled delicacies while relaxing at the beach. The resort offers also an a Carte restaurant serving Gourmet International Cuisine, Seafood restaurant, Oriental Tent set overlooking the sea with shisha (water pipe) and local drinks, an Entertainment Theater built in Roman style, a Lobby Bar, Pool Bar, Waves Beach Bar and Sea View Bar serving local and international cocktails and light snacks and a Pub with all night music and billiards and darts. There is also the Scarabeo Beach Disco directly on the beach that offers a beautiful chance for guests to dance on the sand under the sky all night long.

All Inclusive Sports And Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include fully equipped gymnasium, open air heated jacuzzi, aerobics, boccia, table tennis, volleyball, archery, darts, daytime tennis, sauna (one hour/stay) and billiards (one hour/stay). Hotel offers different animation show and a live singer every evening and night accordingly.

Sports And Leisure

In the resort there are five different swimming pools. A fresh water swimming pool, two fresh water heated pools, two heated integrated children's pools And a children's fountain in the pool and a waves generating pool. Daily recreational programs including all water sports activities, water polo, Children's playground, a mini club, quads, night shows, beach volleyball, beach games, children competitions and trips are conducted by a professional animation team who speak international languages.

All Inclusive General Info

AI privileges will be counted from the moment guests are in house. AI guests should wear bracelets at all times. Bracelets will be delivered to reception on the check out. It is not allowed to invite others for free drinks. Please note that the above timetables are subject to change, according seasons.

Please Note

Please note that the main swimming pool of Akassia Swiss Resort undergoes maintenance works. Guests can use the other four pools instead. Works will be finished approx by 23/4/2007.

Chargeable Extras

The Safari pub, the Scarabeo beach disco, the Laialina Tent, the Sokaria cafe, rackets And floodlit tennis, Turkish bath, massage, sauna (more than the one free hour), billiard (more than the one free hour), bicycle/mountain bike, horse And camel riding and diving are available at a charge.

Accommodation

The Resort has 380 guest rooms, fully equipped to five stars deluxe standards, arranged in two storey buildings, spread over a wide lavishely declining landscape with lots of green areas, overlooking to more than 500 meters beach front. All rooms have a private balcony, bathroom, direct telephone, color TV with satelite channels, mini bar, safety deposit box, hair dryer, in house music and air-conditioning with individual control.

All Inclusive Food And Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (18:30-21:30), all buffet style, served in the Green House restaurant (pool level). Also at the disposal of the AI guests are the Beach Barbeque restaurant on the seaside (during summer) and the Panorama restaurant (during winter) for lunch between 12:30 And 14:30. Snacks such as sandwiches, shawerma, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, French fries, etc. are available at the pool bar (10:00-12:00 And 23:00-24:00) and the Waves beach bar (10:00-12:00 And 15:00-18:00) as well as ice cream at both bars from 15:00-18:00. Locally produced alcoholic And non-alcoholic drinks like whisky, brandy, vodka, soft drinks, mineral water, coffee, tea, tonic water, juices, etc (all by the glass) are served at the pool bar And the lobby bar from 10:00-24:00 and at the Waves beach bar between 10:00 And sunset.
