Aeolis was one of the names for Lesvos Island in ancient times. It was popular during the period when the Aeolians (a clan from Central Greece) spread their culture to the Aegean Sea. Outstanding examples of their influence are the Aeolic rhythm in architecture and the intellectual heritage of Pittakos, Alkaeos, Arion, and Sappho who wrote in the Aeolic dialect. Aeolis Hotel is surrounded by the breathtaking landscape of Molivos a small village with a great tradition and history. Set in mature gardens just 1.200 metres from the towns centre it offers Bungalow style accommodation with sea views.
