The Excelsior Palace Hotel stands on a superb promontory of Taormina and is bordered by the remains of Greco-Roman walls, originally built in the year 374 b.c. The hotel itself boasts 100 years of history but has always offered up to date facilities, being the chosen residence of VIPs around the world as well as the centre for a number of International events. Today, as always, the hotel offers a warm welcome in typical Taormina style. The park adjacent to the hotel is unique for both its position and vegetation of almond and orange trees as well as prickly-pear trees and agaves.
