The Veranda Grand Baie 2 star+ is situated on the North of the Island and is only 4 km away from the lively village of Grand Baie with its variety of restaurants, bars and boutiques and close by the calm fisherman village of Cap Malheureux. The property does not have direct access to the beach, however is accessible by crossing a small road. The scenery from this property is all one can imagine of Mauritius with a view of a turquoise lagoon and the small islands of the North which are magical at Sunset.

Each very large superior room is in good condition and is decorated with blue and yellow finishings with rattan furnishings and dark wood features. These rooms offer air-conditioning and a ceiling fan.

The main restaurant, located poolside, is typical in decor with wood furnishings and a thatched roof. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet or table d'hote style

The small lobby is quite basic, with a small shop and the pool adjacent.

Exterior

The resort is made up of two-story white stucco buildings bordered by bouganvillea, with the pool bordering the reception area. Access to the beach is across a small coastal road and down a few stairs.

La Paillotte restaurant
Set in a tropical ambience La Paillotte serves a great variety of local dishes, whereas the Belle Vue bar offers exotic cocktails blending fruit and spice aromas from morning until noon. Snacks are also available for hungry moments.
