20 km to the nearest beach **ERRATA** RENOVATIONS 12.12.2005 As part of our ongoing commitment to improving all areas of our business we have scheduled an upgrade to the Atrium Lounge & Bar in January of next year. Atrium Lounge and Bar will be closed between 16 January 2006 and 30 January 2006. Work will be conducted between 8:30am and 5pm. The proposed refurbishment will include new carpeting, chairs, lighting and some minor modifications to the bar. The new facilities will enhance the overall impact of our Atrium Lounge to ensure we continue to meet the changing needs of our guests, and to ensure we remain Christchurchs premier hotel. The construction programme will be carefully managed and it is only for two weeks in duration with very little noise impact. As mentioned above, most of the enhancements are of a software nature with only minor alterations involving noise in respect of the bar area.

Exterior

A nine storey 1980's building on a corner site with the main entrance on the corner of Kilmore and Durham Streets. Another entrance to hotel is at the back of the ground floor leading directly on to Victoria park.
