Overview
Boa Vista (Meaning 'good view' in Portuguese') is an island in the east of the Island country Cape Verde. It is known for its marine turtle beaches, sand dunes and peaceful beaches. Boa Vista is a flat Island, and located only 445 kilometres off the West coast of Africa. The island has two feels to it, one which remains based on agriculture and salt collection, and the other based on farming and tourist establishments.

Boa Vista is a great place for nature lovers, combined with hot beaches. People often take up bird watching in Bos Vista, as it is located on the south-western Palaearctic making it an amazing spot to find unusual species of Africa. Turtle watching is also another popular activity, and has several turtle beaches where spectators can go to spot the turtles.

The food in Boa Vista is a fruity mix of African spices, Portuguese meats and Brazilian influences in dishes. The seafood served in Boa Vista is always fresh, from lobster to octopus and other fresh catches. There are several restaurants to choose from, including pizzerias and tapas bars.
