Overview
Golden Sands is a huge and popular seaside resort town in the North of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. It is situated only 17 kilometres from Northtown Varna and attracts many visitors and being favourited for its sunshine, cheap food and drink and well kept blue beaches.
Places Of Interest
Aladzha Monastey is an old orthodox christian cave just 3 kilometres from Golden Sands which is well worth a look. The medieval cave is surrounded by protecting forests and is very close to the Golden Sands Nature Parl. Why not do a little sigh seeing and jump into a taxi to Varna and Balchick, both located on the coast. In Balchick you can visit the Botanical Gradens and the queen Maries summer cottage... And of course, it isn't called Golden Sands for no reason, take full advantage of its many beautiful beaches.
Eating Out
Golden Sands resort is very much catered for its tourists. Here you will find your familiar fast food joints, as well as restaurants offering you a Bulgarian experience serving traditional family friendly meals. There are also many cheap bars serving cocktails and beer close by to the sea.
