Overview

With a population of about 222,417 people, the city is divided up into two different areas, The Acentejo peak and The Anaga Massif. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is very accessible, and although it is very big, there are many bus routes that can take you all around the city making sure you can't miss a thing.
Places Of Interest
Mount Teide in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a mountain which is often accessed by guided tours. The mountain is 3.768 meters high, making it the highest point in Spain. The Teide National Park also has a cable car taking tourists to the top of the mountain. It costs around 25€ per person but it's worth it so see and explore its stunning views. The Tenerife auditorium is also very popular, hosting operas, concerts and high standard Spanish performances. The building itself is very nice and worth a look. Santa Cruz de Tenerife also holds a popular stunning beach called 'Playa de las Teresitas' in a relaxing location.
