Inverness Airport, one of the Highlands and Islands Airports, was voted the best in Scotland in a 2018 survey by consumer organisation Which?. It handles over 1 million passengers every year and serves key destinations such as; London, Amsterdam, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast City, Stornoway, Kirkwall and Sumburgh.

How to get to the airport by car, coach, taxi or train

By Car or Taxi

Inverness Airport is a 15 minute drive away from the city centre on the A96.

By Bus

A bus service operates between the city of Inverness and the airport, including an hourly service from the airport to Nairn, Forres and Elgin.

By Train

Inverness Train Station is a short drive from the airport, but there are also plans to open a new railway station in Dalcross.

There is a choice of premium, short and long stay car parks available at Inverness Airport, with all options situated less than a 10-minute walk away from the terminal building. All car parks are regularly patrolled by security.
