Southampton Airport (SOU)

Southampton International Airport serves around 40 direct European destinations with great onward connections to the world via Amsterdam. More than 2 million passengers passed through the airport in 2017 and this figure it set to rise over the coming years due to the launch of new routes to Menorca and Skiathos.

How to get to the airport by car, coach, taxi or train

By Car or Taxi

Southampton Airport is located just off Junction 5 on the M27, close to the M3. Those travelling from central Southampton should take the A335.

By Bus

There are numerous local bus operators and there's also a coach service for those further afield.

By Train

The airport has its own train station and the fastest plane to train connection in Europe, with only a short walk to the main terminal.

Official car parks at Southampton Airport are the closest to the terminal. Passengers can choose between the priority, meet and greet or short stay parking options within a 5 minute walk from the entrance, as well as long stay spaces that are a 5-minute shuttle bus journey away. All car park types are safe and secure, and are monitored by CCTV and security patrols.
