10 Types Of People You Meet On Every Holiday

Everyone loves meeting new people whilst on holiday and no matter where you go in the world, you'll always find a new friend when you're there - even if it is only the hotel's stray cat. No matter where you go, you'll always find a few of the below types of people too.

1. The LADS, LADS, LADS

You know, the ones that sit around the pool and shout "Oi, Oi" every time one of them says something (not very) funny.

2. The Social Media Addict

The person who refuses to put their phone down. Surely not everyone back home needs to know EVERY detail of their trip, right?

3. The Honeymooners

A newlywed couple, who are so in love it makes you want to down another 3 G&Ts & push one of them in the pool.

4. The Joiner

There’s always that one family who smugly join in with all the activities, whilst making you feel bad for hiding every time the holiday rep appears.

5. The Speedo Guy

The less said about this guy, the better.

6. The Hot Pool Bar Guy

Every hotel has one. It’s like there’s a 'hot guy who can make cocktails' factory somewhere. He certainly bears no resemblance to the Speedo Guy.

7. The Recently Heartbroken Girl

She’ll be with her weird mate as she was the only one available for a girls holiday at such short notice. She’ll also be crying into her cocktail pretty much 80% of the time.

8. The Dad Lads

Like the LADS from number one, just 25 years older and living their best lives away from the wife and kids. Copious amounts of dad dancing, dad jokes and trying to keep up with the LADS will be involved.

9. The Generous Barman

We all love the barman who pours you a full glass of vodka and a dash of lemonade. Unfortunately this is never usually the hot one, it’s the strange old one who smells like peanuts.

10. The Criers

When the coach to take you all back to the airport arrives, you’ll see these sniffling and wiping away a few tears whilst saying: “this is the best holiday I’ve ever had." Granted they’re usually 5-year-olds, but you can sometimes catch the odd adult too.
