Barcelona's Best Rooftop Bars

City breaks are the perfect excuse to enjoy a long weekend away from the norm, to explore a different culture and see new sights. One thing that has to be experienced on a city break, are the rooftop bars. And if you’re going to Barcelona, there are some great ones dotted around the city where you can enjoy panoramic views with a cocktail in hand…

Sky Bar at Grand Central Hotel

During the day, Sky Bar is a rooftop pool, bar and restaurant that is reserved for guests at the Grand Central Hotel. After 9pm though, the doors open to the public and anyone can make their way up to this rooftop bar. Enjoy a chilled out atmosphere during the summer evenings with a drink or reserve a table for a poolside dinner with a view.

B-Bar at B Hotel

If you want views over the Placa d’Espanya with food and drinks at affordable prices, B-Bar is the place to be. Mingle with friends and family by the gorgeous blue pool, order some tapas and enjoy the summer months in style at B-Bar. You’ll definitely be the envy of everyone stood on the viewing platform at the Arenas shopping centre just down the street.

La Terraza del Claris at Claris Hotel

If you fancy a treat, La Terraza del Clarins is a rooftop bar that’s fancier than most but is worth it for the experience. With white furniture, leafy décor and patterned rugs dotted around, it remains very approachable though and is a great rooftop bar even during the cooler months thanks to its glass walled bar.

The Pulitzer Hotel at Hotel Pulitzer

Open through the summer months, from May to September, The Pulitzer Terrace is one of the most convenient rooftop bars as it’s only a short walk from Placa Catalunya. It is only open 5 days per week though, but those 5 days are made to count with live music on each day and a great summer vibe to match the Spanish cuisine, sangria and cava that’s served here!

Have you been to any rooftop bars in Barcelona? Do you have any others to recommend?
