We've all got a list of songs that get us in the holiday mood, and here are some favourite sounds of summer from the icelolly office!
When I hear ‘The Lazy Song’ I’m reminded of my holiday in Thailand. My friends and I were on our way to the Night Market in Hua Hin and this song was playing in the tuk tuk we were in. We sang along, and from then on every time the tuk tuk driver picked us up he’d recognise us and play the song!

This is my summer song for 2014! I recently went to Gran Canaria on a girls’ holiday and this was playing in every bar in Puerto Rico. It’s got a great beat and brings back memories of truly awful drunken dancing in the early hours!

‘Heartbeats’ takes me back to when I saw Jose Gonzalez play at Benicassim Festival in 2008. The tent was near full and really hot, so we sat outside the tent on the grass, enjoying the sun and listening to ‘Heartbeats’ float out from inside the tent.
Naomi, Social Media Manager
Chillout is my favourite genre of music and ‘Summer Breeze’ really helps me get in the holiday mood. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a beer garden and a cold pint!
Rob, Senior Data Analyst
I can’t help but feel nostalgic whenever I hear this song; it leaves me feeling all fuzzy inside. I always wanted to be as cool as girl in the song, but I’ve never worn my hair slicked back and wayfarer sunglasses make me look like Dame Edna…
