Some people say it doesn't feel like Christmas until they see a certain advert featuring a convoy of glittering red Coca Cola trucks, but that's not the only advert that's been hitting our screens lately.
From real tear-jerkers and revamped films to traditional campaigns, there's no denying the power of a good Christmas advert, but will their typically festive setting be amazing enough to convince you to travel there?
This year's Christmas advert tells the emotional tale Excitable Edgar, an adorable dragon who struggles to suppress his fire breathing during the festive period until best friend Ava comes to the rescue and shows him how much she cares. The pair live in a picturesque village lined with traditional buildings, further brought to life by sweeping landscapes, a beautiful square, frozen lakes perfect for ice skating, and a dusting of snow.
Although worthy of a fairytale, the village is very much a real place and can be found within the city of Budapest, Hungary. Don't worry if you can't find the exact location, as the city centre is beautiful during winter and comes complete with a magical Christmas market to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Sainsbury's transported viewers back to Victorian London as part of their Christmas advert to mark their 150th anniversary. Similar to the rumoured story for Father Christmas, the advert features Nicholas the Sweep, a young orphan that gets falsely accused of stealing and banished from the city. However, Mary Ann Sainsbury realises he's innocent and treats him to some clementines from her store as a gift, thus encouraging him to share them out and bring a touch of Christmas magic to the other local children.
Funnily enough, while the advert might be set in London, it was actually filmed on location in Romania. Here, the Christmas celebrations really begin on Christmas Eve and that's when it's time to decorate the Christmas Tree and sing carols.
The supermarket chain has teamed up with Disney to create an advert featuring familiar characters from Frozen 2, including Elsa, Princess Anna, Kristoff, reindeer Sven and snowman Olaf. The group all reveal their favourite things about Christmas, before tucking into a delicious Christmas dinner.
Although this advert is set in a house, we all know that Frozen and its sequel are based in the fictional town of Arendelle and its castle. There is a real-life Arendelle in southern Norway, but the true inspiration for the Disney sequel is Bergen. In fact, the entire film is thought to be based on the scenery and traditions of Norway.
Visa's Christmas advert features 13 shopkeepers all singing with the aim of rallying to the nation to support independent retailers during the festive period and beyond.
The advert was filmed in London, UK, after a where tourists flock every year to do a spot of Christmas shopping and explore the famous array of attractions, activities and entertainment on offer for visitors of all ages at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
