YouTubers That Will Make You Want to See the World

You may have heard that a picture is worth a thousand words, but we think that maybe a video is worth a thousand pictures! If you can’t get there yourself, there’s no better way to get a feel for a country than watching videos from the people who are there, and YouTube is an absolute goldmine of travellers who are sharing their adventures online. These are some of the best YouTubers around who are guaranteed to make you want to buy a plane ticket and jet off into the sunset.

Flying the Nest

High school sweethearts Jess and Stephen are huge film and photography buffs, so all their videos are flawlessly shot including some pretty awesome drone footage. They put themselves at the forefront of their videos, doing guided tours of the places they stay and narrating the amazing activities they get up to like scuba diving, ziplining and skydiving. They also have an amazing series of 360-degree videos, which allow you to totally immerse yourself in their surroundings.

Craig and Aimee have been travelling the world for about two years, recording their trips in fun, relatable videos with a big heap of charisma. They were originally propelled to fame by a video of Aimee getting hit with a fish during a storm on Barry Island seafront, but have since gone on to travel extensively around the world and work with some amazing brands including GoPro, Hostelworld…and! Shameless self-plug here: they’re our presenters over on our YouTube series, Holiday Scoop.

Brothers Marko and Alex have been travelling as a team since 2012, and after winning a travel video contest launched their own YouTube channel to share their stories. They go pretty in-depth, often posting ‘binge-worthy’ vlog series that document each day or activity of a trip in huge detail to give you a full picture of what they get up to. They also post top 10 city break guides, and have a cool section of their channel where they group their video by themes like outdoor, culture and festivals.
