Spiaza beach in Croatia is a beach spot for the whole family to enjoy, with plenty of activities available to enjoy. This quaint island is actually coined as the ‘sandy island of Croatia’, since everything situated here is built upon layers and layers of sand.
What’s great about Spiaza beach is there are no neighbouring nightclubs, cars or roads leading up to this beach, meaning you can be at peace and truly relax. However, dotted along the seafront live an array of restaurants, bars and cafes to reside in when the sun goes down, or if you fancy cooling down away from the hot heat.
If you’re quite the water baby, head into the clear waters of this beach by pedal boat, or simply enjoy a range of water sports right from the beach front, including water volleyball and surfing.
A daily ferry runs from Lošinj, letting you sail across the waters and admiring the surrounding scenery from far and wide. Alternatively, you can catch a luxurious catamaran from Rijeka.
