Playa Las Galgas is known for being one of Tenerife’s quieter beaches. The beach itself is rather small and is nestled snugly within a cove, making it free from excessive winds. A small number of palm trees are dotted around the beach, so if you want to get out of the sun, just sit back against one of them.
The beach doesn’t have many facilities apart from sun loungers, which are available for hire. This is an ideal spot to take your family for a picnic. Las Galgas also proves popular with those who just want to get away from the crowds of the larger beaches and relax in a cove of peace and tranquillity.
The waters are known to get rather choppy so Las Galgas is not the ideal place to bring children to play in the water, but there’s plenty of fun to be had on the sands, nonetheless.
