Announcing Our 2020 TV Campaign…

2020: We’ll Find The Deal To Get You There

Following on from last year’s successful brand-building campaign, new TV ads will combine visually engaging footage alongside an animation of the icelolly.com App to illustrate how simple it is to search and compare holidays, hotels, city breaks and cruises.

The 30” spots will have three iterations targeting specific customer groups, with a compelling voice-over accompanying the on-screen imagery, explaining how icelolly.com features millions of holiday deals from the UK’s leading travel companies and allows customers to compare prices and save money on their perfect holiday. The narrator invites customers to ‘join over 13 million customers who choose icelolly.com, voted the UK’s Best Holiday Comparison Site’ and closes with the line: ‘icelolly.com – we’ll find the deal to get you there.’


2019: Do It For The Stories

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new campaign for 2019, “Do it for the stories”. Over the past months the team here at icelolly has been working hard to design a campaign that perfectly showcases the best of the holiday and travel deals that you, our partners, advertise through our search and deals platforms.

This new campaign centres on the experiences of all of our customers, after all holidays can be over in the blink of an eye and all that’s left is the stories that help us relive the memories. As the UK’s fastest growing holiday comparison and travel deals site we want to share this message and highlight that at icelolly, “We’ll find the deal to get you there”.

To kick-start the campaign we’ve produced a 30” TV commercial and a series of 10” commercials that will air from Boxing Day and run throughout 2019 in our largest ever TV advertising investment. The new advert will debut on Boxing Day during Quantum of Solace on ITV. The commercials are embedded below and we’d love to hear your feedback.

During 2018 many of our advertiser partners, have asked us how they can work more closely with icelolly to feature in broadcast TV. We’ve thought closely about this and have developed a range of solutions that Stuart and his team will be speaking to you about during the early part of next year.

Alongside the new campaign, we’ve has announced a significant business partnership with ITV that will us maintain an ‘always-on’ TV presence throughout 2019 and into early 2020.

From January 2019 we will sponsor afternoons on ITV3, the most popular digital channel for ABC1 adults, home to drama programmes such as Vera, Victoria and The Durrells. In addition, and starting in February, we will sponsor both Family Guy and American Dad on ITV2, the most watched digital channel for 16-34 adults. Both sponsorships will reach over 25m adults during the course of the year!

The last year has seen us cement our position as the UK’s fastest growing holiday comparison and deal travel deals site and we look forward to building our partnerships with you in 2019 and beyond.
