Holidays to Psalidi

Overview

The main draw of Psalidi is its proximity to Kos Town – for those who like a night out but don’t want to stay in a busy town Psalidi is a perfect option. The resort itself is quiet and has little more to it than its pretty beach and a number of 4 and 5-star hotels; even most of the catering and entertainment is based inside the hotel resorts.

Beaches

Psalidi’s highlight is without a doubt its gorgeous beach – holidaymakers staying in Kos Town often make the trip out of town just to come to this beautiful sunspot in Psalidi. The beach is very popular with families; sand gently slopes into the calm ocean, meaning there’s plenty of room for even small children to paddle in the shallows. On a clear day, you can make out the coast of Turkey across the bay.

Things To Do

If you’re looking for adventure, there’s a watersports centre here offering anything from banana boats to windsurfing, or you can drop by the mountain bike shop near the seafront to organise a biking trip into the countryside. A short walk down the coast is Therma Beach, where hot springs come from the nearby mountain and transform the sea into a warm bath. The water has therapeutic benefits and can help ease skin conditions and arthritis.

Day Trips

Psalidi is close enough to Kos Town for visitors to be able to visit whenever they want – if you want to see some historical sights, go shopping or have a night out, Kos Town is the place to go! When the weather’s hot you can cool off at Lido Water Park where you’ll find slides, pools and a lazy river, or book a boat trip to Bodrum in Turkey and tick off another country!
