Lovebirds will want to check out Antalya, one of the country’s most popular honeymoon destinations thanks to its gorg beaches and chic hotels. If you’re looking for a bit of all-inclusive indulgence, add Bodrum to your bucket list. Picture pine-fringed private beaches and a peaceful atmosphere.

Spain

Spain is basically one giant romantic backdrop, so all you smitten kittens will have no trouble finding your dream date spot (#relationshipgoals). For easygoing days, spectacular sunsets and knees-up nights, it’s hard to beat Majorca – make it your own personal love island, minus the drama, of course. For family holidays, head to the costas. Be it the Costa Blanca or the Costa del Sol, you’ll find a string of resorts with beaches to burn and tons of activities. They tend not to costa fortune either!

Malta

Malta is the perfect combo of beach holiday and city break. Its capital, Valletta, and the ‘Silent City’ of Mdina (no cars allowed!) are bite-sized beauts that don’t demand too much time but won’t disappoint. Families and beach bums should look no further than Malta’s longest stretch of sand at Mellieħa Bay. With plenty of kid-friendly hotels, watersports and quaint seaside towns all across the island, the hardest part here is choosing where to visit first. Remember to pack your snorkel!

Portugal

Beach holidays to the Algarve are perf for gallivanting about with the gang. Here, the golden beaches always put on a postcard performance and there are more coastal golf courses than you can swing a sand wedge at – think St. Andrews but sunnier! Portugal’s cosmopolitan cities make them a playground for foodie couples, and at just a two-hour flight from the UK, Lisbon and Porto are legends of the long weekend. Want to get away from it all? Majestic Madeira is where it’s at.

Florida

The Sunshine State doesn’t mess around when it comes to holiday action. There are amazing cities, stunning beaches, world-leading theme parks and golf courses galore, so holidays to Florida are always fab. For a family holiday that will knock the kids’ socks off (it’ll be too hot for socks anyway), Orlando is in a league of its own. With Disney World, Universal Studios and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – just to name a few – the whole fam better be ready for the ride of their lives.

Albania

We’re sorry to break it to you but if you don’t have Albania on your holiday radar then your radar may be broken (have you tried turning it off and on again?). With white-sand beaches and sky-blue sea, Albania is the Mediterranean destination you didn’t know you needed. Getting there is part of the adventure too, with its top beach resorts best accessed by boat from Corfu. The extra travel is worth it in our humble opinion as it’s cheap as chips and there are fewer crowds.
