Overview
On Menorca’s rural north coast you will find Arenal D’en Castell, a small purpose-built resort with a great beach, gorgeous weather and a fun nightlife. The resort is small and backed by sprawling green woodland, giving Arenal D’en Castell a remote, peaceful feel, but don’t be fooled – there are plenty of distractions here to keep you busy on your Menorca holiday, whether it’s day or night!
Beaches
Arenal D’en Castell in Spain has a lovely Blue Flag beach that is popular with families for its clean sand and safe conditions for children. Sheltered in a horseshoe bay, the water is calm, warm and shallow enough for young children to paddle safely. The beach also comes with a playground and beach bar, has sun loungers and pedalos available for hire, and is manned by a lifeguard.
Things To Do
Arenal D’en Castell is just 20 minutes from Es Mercadal, a pretty whitewashed town from which you can climb Mount Toro, Menorca’s highest point. Enjoy the panoramic views from the top, and spend some time wandering around the charming town. Also nearby is Mahon, the island’s capital, where you can find museums and a gin distillery. In resort there’s a golf course, tennis courts and go-kart track providing entertainment for the whole family.
Nightlife
Although it’s a small resort, Arenal D’en Castell has plenty going on in the evenings. A party resort it is not, but there are several options for an exciting night. Stay in your hotel for your all inclusive dinner, and chances are you will also be treated to some in-resort entertainment. Venture out, and you can enjoy a meal at a waterfront restaurant followed by cocktails and live music at a local bar.
