As part of Spain’s ‘Golden Coast’, La Pineda is not short of a golden beach or two. In fact, this Spanish resort has 3 Blue Flag beaches, a family-friendly atmosphere, a mixture of restaurants and bars and plenty of activities to keep even the most active family happy! Theme parks and water parks are also nearby so if a day in the sun doesn’t appeal, you can hang out around the thrill of the rides!

Beaches

La Pineda has 3 beaches that seem to roll into one endless stretch of sand along the coastline. The gently sloping sand makes this resort perfect for families with little paddlers and the beach’s Blue Flag status means that the sands are clean and safe all year round. Scuba diving and snorkelling are also popular here as the water is incredibly clean and clear. A great activity if you want to see the underwater wildlife!

Food And Drink

Restaurants serving fresh Spanish paella, tapas and seafood are dotted around La Pineda, providing plenty of choice for those that want to sample the local food. Ice cream parlours and street cafes line the main roads and some are even open until the early hours. La Pineda’s sister resort Salou is the place to party from dusk ‘til dawn though as La Pineda’s bars stay fairly chilled out.

From the golden beaches and watersports to theme parks and horse riding, you won’t be short of activities or things to do in La Pineda. Become a beach bum and snorkel in the clean water or head into the countryside and take a horse riding tour around La Pineda’s beautiful landscape. La Pineda is also ideally located to visit the theme park of Port Aventura or the thrilling waterpark of Aquapolis.
