Things To Do

You can really get in touch with nature in Rodney Bay. Get out in the ocean and try to spot some rare leatherback turtles at Grand Anse or spend a day on Pigeon Island, a national landmark that was originally built as a fort to protect the island of St Lucia. If you want to be a bit more adventurous, hop on a Segway tour from Rodney Bay and ride around the island’s countryside.

Beaches

Rodney Bay has its pick of fine, golden beaches. Reduit Beach is a popular spot with plenty of water sports, such as windsurfing and water skiing, and a beachside café to keep the crowds entertained, although this beach does get quieter the further south you go. Pigeon Island Beach is a pretty spot as well, where the sand is fringed with palm trees and there are also a selection of water sports to try out.

Food And Drink

Rodney Bay certainly has a different feel to it during the evening. Restaurants dish up rich local cuisine and letting your hair down what the evenings are for. Bars fill up with late night drinkers and traditional music can be heard floating through the air. Why not head to a local beach bar and watch the sunset over the ocean or on a Friday night, head to Gros Islet, for a legendary street party!
