Nassau is the largest city, as well as the capital of the commonwealth fare of the Bahamas. It is also the biggest commercial centre. It has a pretty big population of around 250,000 people, which is actually 70 percent of the whole of the Bahama’s population. Nassau is home to the Bahamas most popular airport, meaning it draws in thousands each year. Although Nassau has a huge population and attracts many tourists, it is still considerably laid back considering.
A stunning seaport, Georgetown is a charming town located on Great Exuma Island. Shopping, restaurants and bars provide a respite from the beach- if you need one!- while if you’re the active type Georgetown has plenty of watersports in the stunningly warm, clear waters to keep you busy.
