Mlini is known to be one of Dubrovnik's best built up tourists areas. Being surrounded by mountains and hill top houses, the village offers a real holiday experience as it is also favourited for having a warm temperature all year round. Being in the country of Croatia, the village attracts many tourists, and although it is a relatively small village, it has become popular due to its desirable location, connecting just by the D8 highway from Dubrovnik and has another lovely neighbouring town, Cavtat.
There are many cafés in Mlini you can enjoy sandwiches, coffee, iced tea and Croatian snack in throughout the day time here as well as many small individual and unique restaurants to enjoy, serving up Croatian food, your favourite European cuisine served with relatively cheap local, high quality wines!
In Mlini there is a popular promenade which lays across the village's main beach, a beautiful sandy area surrounded by mountains, village houses and buildings making up the village. With palm trees resting here too, there is also a mini harbour in which boats come in and out of, as well as some offering boat rides. There are many hidden and almost private pebbled beaches that are definitely worth searching and exploring for.
