Holidays to Illetas

Overview

Only 20 minutes from Majorca’s airport, Illetas is set against a lush backdrop of green pine trees, rocky cliffs and swanky beach bars. This upmarket destination is a striking contrast to the other resorts on the south coast of Majorca, so rather than loud bars and cheap alcohol, Illetas offers a more exclusive experience with stylish restaurants to dine in and a sheltered, sandy cove for soaking up the sun.

Things To Do

Other than enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of Illetas, sampling the delicious fresh food from the beachside restaurants or enjoying a cocktail as you gaze out over the harbour, there isn’t actually that much to do in Illetas. The sandy cove is Illetas’ main attraction and the clear water provides a refreshing retreat during the day. The relaxing atmosphere is part of its appeal though and it means there’s no distraction from enjoying Majorca’s warm weather!

Food And Drink

Although Illetas is a small and unique resort, there is still plenty of choice for visitors to get a delicious meal here. Try out the fresh seafood or handmade pizza at one of the beach bars and wash down with an accompanying local wine or beer. In the evening, spend sunset at Virtual Club, a bar sat inside a natural cave looking over the ocean – the perfect end to a day in Illetas!

Day Trips

If you’re craving a day out, hop on the bus and you’ll be in Majorca’s capital of Palma. This city, 9km north of Illetas has been compared to Barcelona as it has beautiful architecture, a stunning cathedral and narrow lanes full of cosy cafés and little shops. It’s a lively and sophisticated place and is definitely a change of pace from the laid back luxury of Illetas.
