Burgas, also known as Bourgas is the second largest city on the Bulgarian Coast, (Black Sea) and is the fourth largest in the whole of Bulgaria. It holds approximately just under 200,000 people and plays an important role in tourist, cultural and industrial sectors of the city.
Bourgas is the point location for the centre of Burgas Bay, and is home to The LUKOIL Neftochim of Burgas, the largest oil refinery in all of the Southern Eastern of Europe. The city is also famous for its fishing bays and fish processing industries as well as holding the second largest airport in Bulgaria.
