Holidays to Playa Paraiso

Tenerife’s Playa Paraiso resort is known for its laid back atmosphere and relaxed attitude, allowing it to offer an escape from the stresses of everyday life. Naturally, it attracts a large number of British tourists each year.

People opt for cheap Playa Paraiso holidays because of the resort’s tranquillity, which makes it a great place for couples and families. The community also serves as an ideal base from which to explore the other towns in the area, should you want to expand upon your holiday experience. In other words, this is the ideal resort for relaxing by day, but within easy reach of nightlife for that wild night out.

Weather

Playa Paraiso, like most resorts on the south side of Tenerife, enjoys a sub-tropical climate that keeps it warm all year round. The peak of the summer, August, sees temperatures rising to the high-twenties, with days surpassing the 30°C barrier, making it a great location to work on your tan.

The winter months are also warm in Playa Paraiso, with temperatures averaging the high-teens and low-twenties. Many find that the winter months are the best time to visit, as it is not too hot, and certainly not cold. Many tourists take advantage of cheap Playa Paraiso holidays during this time, escaping the gloomy winters of the UK.

Beaches

The resort has a small beach, which is great for topping up the tan whilst relaxing at the water’s edge, but a lot of people head towards Playa Paraiso’s saltwater lido. This outdoor pool area comes with its own tropical waterfall and is renowned as an ideal place for families to safely swim. Out of the water, there are numerous loungers for you to lie in the sun and dry off. This area also has a restaurant, meaning that you could easily spend the whole day here, with many tourists opting to do just that.

Many visitors choose to have a go at water sports whilst in Playa Paraiso, as the temperature of the water can rise to the mid-twenties, meaning that scuba diving and jet skiing can be enjoyed without the fear of a plunge into a cold sea.

Food And Drink

There are various small restaurants dotted around this resort that can offer you the great local cuisine, with many of these places specialising in freshly caught seafood. Dishes such as caldereta de pescado and sancocho Canario are popular amongst the locals. However, if this type of cuisine is not for you, then there are plenty of places that offer a taste from home, with fish and chips and a traditional roast dinner on offer at some of the resort’s English restaurants, including The Slug and Lettuce.

Playa Paraiso is one of the most laid back resorts in Tenerife with a more relaxed nightlife. It is the perfect resort to have a chilled drink and socialise with friends and family. Eldon House is a British pub located in this town, bringing a taste of the UK to the Canaries with familiar food and drink, as well as pub quizzes.
